Passion ~ Small Business Wife

Passion.

This word has been such a journey for me these past few months.  Since my last post a little less than a year ago, I took a leave of absence on a lot of things.  I Took some much needed “Space” from divulging into 1,500 things that I thought I needed to give m time and my energies too.

As an entrepreneur, a wife and a mom to a toddler my time can easily get consumed without even blinking an eye.  In fact, the toddler is now preoccupied with an episode of Curious George, just so I can take a moment to write this blog.

This year has been a year of adjustment and recalibration.  Taking a deep breath in before our lives were about the change dramatically again.  With a little one on the way in 2 months, we have truly done an overhaul on our world and what we have wanted our businesses to be. Passion has been the driving factor of this movement in our house.   We have stepped back, sold businesses that weren’t working, simplified systems for the businesses that were and made choices based on our priorities and nothing else.

Passion creates something in you, even in simplicity.  It creates this sense of hope and drive to accomplish anything.  Passion allows your mind to be open to the ideas of creating, exploring, and motivating the world around you.  I believe that Passion combined with sustainable systems are the driving forces of Successful Businesses.

It wasn’t until recently, that I saw the beauty in the life that we were living.   The flexibility and the grace that has been in our working days.  The freedom to embrace our gifting and to utilizing them together to accomplish a goal.  The power that came when we put our minds together, planned together, and built together.  Whether is it was a system that needed built or our little family at home, our lives on and off the working “field” were done as one.  With Passion.

So today I challenge you to ignite the passion again.  Ignite it back into your marriage, your business, into your family.  For it is the driving force that motivates the world around you.  Be Passion.  Live Passionately. Love Passionately.
